As many as 2,369 volunteers from various walks of life helped clean a 16 km-stretch from the lighthouse on the Marina to Injambakkam

Kids joined in large numbers and cleaned with great discipline. In some of the beaches, elderly folks joined and participated in the cleanup
Corporates joined in large numbers. Employees from Techdew & Cognizant Technologies joined Broken Bridge group and collected close to 350 bags
